Still a bit foggy this morning,but the weatherman seems to think it will clear by about 10 am, so Larry and I decide to continue driving down the Oregon coast ~ There are a number of places where there is a partial beautiful view, but there is also spotty, heavy fog mixed in ;-/ Here's a sample (see the heavy fog extending out from the point on the far side):
One thing I noticed about Oregon, they have some huge draw bridges over the major rivers that are flowing into the ocean.
Every time the road turned inland it was clear blue skies ~ As soon as the road hit the coast again, fog. So when we hit California again we decided to turn inland ~ We drove across Highway 299, best know for being Big Foot Country!! I told Larry if we could find Big Foot and take a picture we could be famous ~ but no such luck!
